CLIENT CHALLENGE

Our client was looking for a technological basis to support field service staff with expert knowledge anywhere and anytime. The target solution included the developed technology to be usable across different industries for different kinds of services.

OUR APPROACH

We established highly efficient remote field services using our service technology framework. We identifed the innovation potential as well as about 140 business requirements and validated them. The achitecture was specified and we defined profitable business cases serving use cases from different industries.

THE IMPACT

We identified new business model opportunities for our client based on achieved higher system availability and reduced downtimes for our customer's industrial installations.
This included technologies for real-time collaboration including Augmented and Virtual Reality to support field service staff with expert knowledge anywhere and anytime.
Significant additional business potential was tapped for new services and follow up system business for our client.
