Market Entry Strategy for KSA Governmental Entity in Smart City Domain

We developed a market entry strategy and approach for a governmental entity in Saudi Arabia, focused on advancing their position in the smart city domain.

  • Smart city initiatives are accelerating across KSA under Vision 2030 and national strategies, yet cities continue to address key challenges: scaling infrastructure, integrating technologies, and delivering measurable impact.
  • To address these challenges, the client has sought solutions that enable seamless smart city integration, effectively tackle urban infrastructure and service gaps, and deliver measurable benefits to both citizens and municipalities.
Client Challenge
  • Conducted demand and competitor analysis aligned with KSA Vision to identify 59 smart city offerings.
  • Prioritized 11 offerings for go-to-market and developed supporting pitch decks for city collaboration.
  • Created a short-, mid-, and long-term roadmap including business models, partners, vendors, and key implications.
  • Enabled strategic alignment and execution through detailed offering assessments and stakeholder engagement.
Our Approach
  • The clear roadmap toward realizing the smart city vision focuses on enhancing traffic flow, optimizing urban parking, reducing carbon emissions, and improving waste management to support a cleaner, more efficient city. It also incorporates flora and fauna monitoring to promote sustainability and foster a healthier, more livable environment.
