How do we practice mobile working as a core element of the "new normal"?

Siemens instituted mobile working during the pandemic and is making it a permanent standard in the New Normal. Mobile working is something more than working remotely at home. Rather, it empowers our employees to choose the work site where they are most productive – after consulting with their supervisor. That means that the hybrid working model explicitly includes other work environments, such as co-working offices. Time spent in the office should be used to reasonably complement mobile working. The solution will be adapted to meet local legal regulations, the requirements of different job profiles and individual preferences.

 

How to apply?

On our job portal, you can use the keyword search and filter function to find your preferred job, which we publish worldwide in real-time. You can apply directly online by clicking on the "Apply" button at the top right of the job posting relevant to you. We will then ask you to register with us. Since we want to keep the application process as quick and uncomplicated as possible, we only need your current CV in the first step for us to get to know you. How does the application process look like?

We have moved our entire application and interview process to a virtual journey during times of pandemic. Once you have applied online, our recruiting team will review your documents and discuss suitable candidates with the hiring manager. You can check the status of your application at any time via the "My Dashboard" button in the upper right-hand area of our job portal.

Since our business lines provide offerings across Consulting, Solutions & Development, depending on your business area of interest you may then be invited to a case study, panel interview, technical interview or behavioral interview. Our recruiting team will guide you throughout this process and share necessary information with you.

 

I can't find a suitable position in the job portal. Can I still join Siemens Advanta?

You are welcome to create your profile independently of a job posting via the button "Not found what you are looking for?" in the lower, yellow screen area of our job portal and save your data as well as your CV. Here you can also set up individual job alerts, and we will then inform you automatically and promptly by e-mail about new job postings that are of interest to you. We publish new challenges and opportunities worldwide every day, and our job board constantly updates itself.

 

Can I apply for several jobs at the same time?

Of course! You are welcome to apply for different jobs with us at the same time. For each application, you can save individual documents via the "My Dashboard" button in the upper right-hand area of our job portal. We will check your suitability for each position separately.

 

Can I also submit a speculative application to Siemens Advanta?

Of course, we are also looking forward to receiving your speculative application. Please create your profile independently of a job advertisement via the button "Not found what you are looking for?" in the lower, yellow screen area of our job portal and save your data as well as your CV. Here you can also set up individual job notifications, and we will inform you automatically and promptly by e-mail about new job postings that are of interest to you. We post new challenges worldwide every day, and our job board constantly refreshes the opportunities. itself.

 

Will my data be saved when I apply to Siemens Advanta or create an applicant profile?

To process your application, we need to save your data. You can view your saved data at any time via the "My Dashboard" button in the upper right-hand area of the screen of our job portal and adjust or completely delete it by clicking on "Edit profile".

 

Who can see my applicant data?

We take the protection of your data very seriously. During the application process, we ask you with whom you would like to share your data. We recommend that you select the option "For open positions worldwide". You will then become part of the global Siemens Talent Community and can be informed by our recruiting team in the future about jobs that match your profile.

If you only want to be contacted for the job you have applied for, please select the option "Only for specific jobs I am applying for". Your data will then only be visible to the responsible recruiting contact for this function, and you will not become a member of the Siemens Talent Community.

If you wish to change the settings for the visibility of your application data, you can do so at any time via "My Dashboard" in the "My Profile" section in the left-hand drop-down menu in the "Personal Information" category.

 

Which documents do I need to apply for a job at Siemens Advanta?

Since we want to keep the application process as quick and uncomplicated as possible, we only need your current CV in the first step for us to get to know you. We will request further documents from you if they are required.

 

I have questions about the position, but I can't find a personal contact person in the posting. What can I do?

No personal contact persons are named in our job descriptions. Our recruiting team will, of course, contact you after receiving your application and will be happy to answer your individual questions about the role personally.

How can I withdraw my application?

You can manage and withdraw your applications at any time via the "My Dashboard" button in the upper right-hand area of the screen on our job portal. Please note that once you have withdrawn your application, you will not reapply for the relevant position. If you have withdrawn an application by accident, please contact our support.

 

I have already applied, but I need to make changes to my application documents. Is that possible?

Of course, you can update or exchange your uploaded documents at any time. To do so, please click on the "My Dashboard" button in the upper right-hand area of our job portal and select the menu item "My Profile".

 

Do I get feedback if my application is not successful?

Of course, we will always keep you informed about the status of your application. However, please understand that due to the high volume of applications, we are unfortunately unable to provide you with individual feedback in the case of a rejection.

 

I have applied but have not yet received a response. What do I need to do?

You can check the status of your application at any time via the "My Dashboard" button in the top right-hand area of our job portal directly on the homepage. We ask you to be patient if you have not yet received feedback on your application. As soon as our recruiting team has reviewed your application, you will receive feedback promptly.

Can I apply for a job abroad?

Our job portal is constantly updated with vacancies worldwide, and we look forward to receiving your application at any of our locations.

 

How long does it take to register and apply for a job?

Registering in our job application portal only takes a few minutes and applying is possible with just a few clicks. If you have your current CV ready, you will need no more than 5 minutes for your online application.
